Record irrigation measurements and review saved settings

Enter measured supply values, save them with the Studio drawing, then review saved zones, head assignments and known demand.

Open the irrigation panel

Use this guide to record measurements your team has taken and to review irrigation information already saved in a Studio design. It does not measure water pressure or flow for you.

  1. Open the property's design in Studio.
  2. Open Water & light, then choose Irrigation.
  3. Open Zones & supply.

Mark a supply and enter measurements

If the design has no supply point, choose Mark the supply, select Supply from the placement choices, and click the plan where that point belongs. Then select the supply point in the panel before entering its readings.

Record only measurements you actually have. Static pressure alone does not establish working pressure; working pressure requires a positive flow measured during the same flowing test. Flow may remain blank when it has not been measured.

  • Static pressure (PSI): the static reading you measured.
  • Flow (GPM): usable flow measured while water is flowing.
  • Working pressure (PSI): the reading from that same flowing test when measured flow is positive.
  • Service line size is optional; a listed size shows its reference inside diameter.
  1. Enter the measured values under Supply measurements.
  2. Choose Apply supply to apply them to the current drawing.Apply supply changes the current drawing; it does not save a design revision.
  3. Choose the main Save control and wait for Saved.Studio saves a design revision separately from applying the supply form.

If an apply is refused

When working pressure is entered without measured flow from the same flowing test, Studio refuses the change and keeps the draft in the form. The refusal means the form was not applied; correct the measurements before applying again.

  • The change was refused. Your draft is still here.
  • Working pressure needs measured flow from the same flowing test.

Confirm the saved readings

After Saved appears, reload the design and reopen Irrigation, then Zones & supply. Select the supply point to review the readings in its form. The saved revision is the record to check; an unsaved form is only a draft.

Review saved zones, heads, and demand

In Zones & supply, review the saved zone name and the supply associated with it. In Heads, review a placed head's Assigned zone and the catalog values shown for that saved item. Open Checks to review the displayed demand for the zone.

Demand is calculated from known catalog flow and the saved drawing. It is a screening value, not a field measurement, design certification, or recommendation that the supply or equipment is adequate.

Limits

Catalog performance values are references, not measurements of installed equipment. The irrigation checks do not certify hydraulic design or system performance. This guide does not cover creating or editing zones and heads, pipe design, equipment selection, or installation approval.
